NetSoc Activities Completed

The NetSoc project completed its activities on 30 June 2014. During its life time, the NetSoc project supported the wide European ICT research and innovation community, particularly in the networking area. The main results of the NetSoc project are the establishment of the 5G infrastructure PPP in the Horizon 2020 programme, together with other involved stakeholders, the re-establishment of the European Technology Platforms (ETP) and involved communities in the area through creation of the NetWorld 2020 ETP, established by Net!Works and ISI ETPs from the FP7 programme, and the re-structuring of the NEM Initiative towards Horizon 2020.
