100+ ICT Experts met in Paris to Look beyond 5G – Joint Expert and Vision Workgroup workshop

The 5G-Vision work group of the 5G-Infrastructure-Association and the Networld2020 Expert Advisory Group held a joint workshop in Paris on the 29 June 2015, collocated with EUCNC’15.

The workshop has 3 relevant topics:

• “Looking Beyond 5G”, with the objective of identifying disruptive technologies and clean-slate approaches for new, very advanced communication systems.
•  Experimental facilities for 5G, and
•  5G roadmap / TRL of 5G technologies

The workshop in the Palais des Congrès of Issy les Moulineau in Paris, France had over 100 Vision Group and Expert Group members attending to share their visions and opinions and to prepare papers on the priorities for research and innovations for the next period leading to 5G and beyond.
